Reggae Concert Tickets
Reggae was first developed in Jamaica in the 1960s. It originated following on the development of ska and rocksteady. It is usually played using a guitar, piano or both. The bass guitar usually plays the dominant role in a reggae song. A standard drum kit is usually used in reggae, as well. The vocals tend to be the least defining characteristic of the music. The tempo of reggae is usually slower than other Jamaica music. In early 1968, the first genuine reggae record was released.
When you think of reggae, one name comes to mind, Bob Marley. He was the lead singer of Bob Marley & The Wailers from 1963 to “1981. His album "Legend" was released after his death and is reggae's best-selling album, going ten times Platinum which is also one Diamond in the U.S. and selling 25 million copies worldwide.
